DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, December 18 at 7 pm\, Third Thursday Poetry and Jazz will hold its annual “Open Mic Solstice Reading & Party” at The Record at 265 Main Street in downtown Point Arena. Doors open at 7pm\, event begins at 7:15pm. \nThe reading will begin with live improv jazz followed by an open mic with jazz improv\, and finally the reading will conclude with more live improv jazz. \nFollowing tradition\, there will be no featured poet this month\, but instead all south coast literary lovers are encouraged to bring in poems to share if they are inspired to do so. \nThird Thursday Poetry & Jazz is supported by The Third Thursday Poetry Group\, anonymous supporters\, and Poets & Writers\, Inc. \n
