Beginning with an homage to fellow Mendocino coast poet\, William “Bill” Bradd\, Whitehill touches on memories of coming of age and other rites of passage\, along with the passing of family members\, while building a slow\, sustained homage to La Muerta\, giver of the great gift\, consummate dance partner. \n* * * * * \nRoxi Power\, Santa Cruz\, California; Roxi Power is a poet\, performer\, educator\, and publisher. She teaches at UC Santa Cruz\, and has been involved in the Cascadia Poetics Lab and its annual Cascadia Poetry Festival\, where she and Theresa first met.
