Local poet Mike A’Dair will be reading his long poem, The Pillar of Light, at 7 P.M. on Saturday January 10, 2026 at the Willits Community Theatre Playhouse.

The poem is nearly a thousand lines long and will take a little more than an hour to read. The Pillar of Light surveys the history of Western civilization’s slowly growing awareness of the mathematical, geometrical and astronomical implications of the pyramid. The poem also touches on the pyramid’s Biblical and Christian significance.

There will be an intermission at approximately 8:15.  After the intermission there will be an open reading, lasting from roughly 8:30 to 9:30.  Entry to this reading is by donation; however, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
