On Thursday, December 21 at 7 pm, Third Thursday Poetry and Jazz will hold its annual “Open Mic Solstice Reading & Party” at the Point Arena Community Center (as well as virtually via Zoom), located at 40 School Street in Point Arena.

The reading will begin with live improv jazz followed by an open mic with jazz improv; the reading will conclude with more live jazz.

Following tradition, there will be no featured poet this month, but instead all south coast literary lovers are encouraged to bring in poems to share if they are inspired to do so.

Third Thursday Poetry is supported by The Third Thursday Poetry Group, many anonymous donors, and Poets & Writers, Inc. through a grant it has received from The James Irvine Foundation.
